Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work The Fire Of Life by Yuyu Yang. The price achieved of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 38,607.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yuyu Yang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Advent of the Phoenix in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,047,500.00 (€ 178,988.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Fire Of Life von Yuyu Yang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 38.607,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuyu Yang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Advent of the Phoenix im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.047.500,00 (€ 178.988,97).
