Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

In October 2011 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Phoenix by Yuyu Yang. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 20,778.66). Admittedly, works by Yuyu Yang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Advent of the Phoenix in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,047,500.00 (€ 178,988.97).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Im Oktober 2011 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Phoenix von Yuyu Yang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 20.778,66) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuyu Yang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Advent of the Phoenix im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.047.500,00 (€ 178.988,97).
