Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2012 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Eagle - 1 by Yuyu Yang. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 280,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 29,231.23). Admittedly, works by Yuyu Yang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Advent of the Phoenix in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,047,500.00 (€ 178,988.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2012 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eagle - 1 von Yuyu Yang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 280.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 29.231,23) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuyu Yang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Advent of the Phoenix im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.047.500,00 (€ 178.988,97).
