Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2012 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Dragon'S Shrill In The Cosmic Void by Yuyu Yang. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,666.08). Admittedly, works by Yuyu Yang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Advent of the Phoenix in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,047,500.00 (€ 178,988.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dragon'S Shrill In The Cosmic Void von Yuyu Yang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.666,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuyu Yang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Advent of the Phoenix im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.047.500,00 (€ 178.988,97).
