Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Yoshitaka Amano was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in March last year. The price achieved of USD 4,410.00 (€ 3,975.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yoshitaka Amano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Face 1 in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 17,300.00 (€ 22,055.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Yoshitaka Amano wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.410,00 (€ 3.975,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yoshitaka Amano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Face 1 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.300,00 (€ 22.055,06).
