Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Yoshitaka Amano could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online | London auction, the work Flying High changed hands for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,145.86) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Yoshitaka Amano have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2008 by the work Face 1 at GBP 17,300.00 (€ 22,055.06).

In der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | London wechselte die Arbeit Flying High für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.145,86) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Yoshitaka Amano wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April 2008 die Arbeit Face 1 mit GBP 17.300,00 (€ 22.055,06).
