Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Palangre (muro de mar II) by Yoan Capote was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 43,750.00 (€ 37,644.12). Admittedly, works by Yoan Capote have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Isla (in memoriam) in September last year with an auction result of USD 201,600.00 (€ 206,071.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Palangre (muro de mar II) von Yoan Capote wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 43.750,00 (€ 37.644,12) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yoan Capote auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Isla (in memoriam) im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 201.600,00 (€ 206.071,76).
