Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Circus Girl No. 1 (On the Wire) by Yasuo Kuniyoshi was sold in the Editions auction at Phillips in New York in June 2011. The price achieved of USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,291.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yasuo Kuniyoshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boy With Cow in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 271,500.00 (€ 256,664.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Circus Girl No. 1 (On the Wire) von Yasuo Kuniyoshi wurde im Juni 2011 in der Auktion Editions bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.291,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yasuo Kuniyoshi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boy With Cow im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 271.500,00 (€ 256.664,78).
