Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work B1, B2, B3, B4, B5 (Set Of Five) by Xing Danwen for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 8,241.26). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Chinese Art III - The Estella Collection at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Xing Danwen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2007 by the work Urban Fiction 3 at GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,136.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit B1, B2, B3, B4, B5 (Set Of Five) von Xing Danwen für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 8.241,26) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art III - The Estella Collection bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Xing Danwen wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2007 die Arbeit Urban Fiction 3 mit GBP 10.200,00 (€ 15.136,29).
