Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Disconnexion Series B2 & A3 And Urban Fiction 4 (Three Works) by Xing Danwen for HKD 1,875.00 (€ 220.65). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xing Danwen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Urban Fiction 3 in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,136.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Disconnexion Series B2 & A3 And Urban Fiction 4 (Three Works) von Xing Danwen für HKD 1.875,00 (€ 220,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xing Danwen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Urban Fiction 3 im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 15.136,29).
