A top price for Xing Danwen
The work Urban Fiction 3 by Xing Danwen was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Phillips in London in June 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,136.29). With this result, Urban Fiction 3 is even the most expensive work of art by Xing Danwen that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Urban Fiction 3 von Xing Danwen wurde im Juni 2007 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 10.200,00 (€ 15.136,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Urban Fiction 3 sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Xing Danwen, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
