Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Jianghu - Encounter by Xin Dongwang was worth HKD 4,580,000.00 (€ 438,152.09) to a buyer in November 2011. This price was achieved in the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 1,200,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Xin Dongwang; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Golden Wedding sold at auction in May 2011 with the realized price of HKD 5,060,000.00 (€ 452,640.51).

Die Arbeit Jianghu - Encounter von Xin Dongwang war einem Käufer im November 2011 HKD 4.580.000,00 (€ 438.152,09) wert.
