Last leaf inscribed with a poem and signed: Xiao Yuncong, with two seals of the artist: Mo Si, Xiao Yun Cong
The remaining seven leaves each with one to two seals of the artist: Mo Si, Xiao Yun Cong
Each leaf with one to two collectors' seals, including:
Deng Chengwei (18th-19th century): Ding Cheng; and
Fu Yu Zhi Yin
Colophon by Zhang Mingke (1828-1908), and with one collector's seal of Zhou Mo'nan (1916-1991)

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscapes by Xiao Yuncong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2003. It changed hands for a price of HKD 95,600.00 (€ 9,956.07) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xiao Yuncong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Endless Mountains in July last year with an auction result of HKD 8,640,000.00 (€ 1,078,094.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscapes von Xiao Yuncong kam im Juli 2003 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 95.600,00 (€ 9.956,07) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xiao Yuncong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Endless Mountains im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.640.000,00 (€ 1.078.094,49).
