A top price for Xiao Yuncong - as previously expected
The work Endless Mountains by Xiao Yuncong was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 8,640,000.00 (€ 1,078,094.49) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 7,000,000.00 – 9,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Endless Mountains is the most expensive artwork by Xiao Yuncong that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Endless Mountains von Xiao Yuncong kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 8.640.000,00 (€ 1.078.094,49) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 7.000.000,00 – 9.000.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Endless Mountains das teuerste Kunstwerk von Xiao Yuncong, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
