Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Hermano by Wyatt Kahn. The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,695.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wyatt Kahn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sideways, which sold at auction in October 2014 for GBP 122,500.00 (€ 156,414.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hermano von Wyatt Kahn zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 42.695,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Wyatt Kahn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sideways beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für GBP 122.500,00 (€ 156.414,80) versteigert wurde.
