Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2008 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Peacocks by Wu Yisheng. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 6,950.93) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Wu Yisheng have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work Peacocks was auctioned for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 9,261.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peacocks von Wu Yisheng zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 6.950,93) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Wu Yisheng konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2008 die Arbeit Peacocks für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 9.261,73) versteigert.
