Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Peacock by Wu Yisheng was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 6,556.37) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Wu Yisheng have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work Peacocks was auctioned for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 9,261.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Peacock von Wu Yisheng wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 6.556,37) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Wu Yisheng konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2008 die Arbeit Peacocks für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 9.261,73) versteigert.
