Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Modern Chinese Paintings, which included the work Peacock by Wu Yisheng. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 5,713.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Wu Yisheng have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work Peacocks was auctioned for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 9,261.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Modern Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peacock von Wu Yisheng zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 5.713,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Wu Yisheng konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2008 die Arbeit Peacocks für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 9.261,73) versteigert.
