In May 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Landscape With Teepee And Indians by Worthington Whittredge. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Worthington Whittredge; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Pine Cone Gatherers sold at auction in November 2016 with the realized price of USD 360,500.00 (€ 340,801.66).
