The work The Pine Cone Gatherers by Worthington Whittredge was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2016. Here, the upper estimate of USD 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 360,500.00 (€ 340,801.66).
