This work without title by Wolfgang Laib was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2012. The result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,083.11) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wolfgang Laib - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Milkstone, which sold at auction in December 2016 for EUR 112,500.00.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Wolfgang Laib kam im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.083,11) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wolfgang Laib mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Milkstone beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für EUR 112.500,00 versteigert wurde.
