The result of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 2,869.99) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wire Tuazon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Invisible forest in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 16,881.92).

Die Arbeit The Origin of Faith von Wire Tuazon kam im November 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 2.869,99) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wire Tuazon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Invisible forest im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 16.881,92).
