The work Jug With Bottles by Winston Churchill was worth GBP 983,000.00 (€ 1,097,359.73) to a buyer in November 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Post-War British Art at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 250,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Winston Churchill have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tower Of The Koutoubia Mosque in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 8,285,000.00 (€ 9,732,740.78).

Die Arbeit Jug With Bottles von Winston Churchill war einem Käufer im November 2020 GBP 983.000,00 (€ 1.097.359,73) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art bei Sothebys in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 250.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Winston Churchill auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tower Of The Koutoubia Mosque im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.285.000,00 (€ 9.732.740,78).
