Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Princess Is Dead by Wilson Shieh was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2009. It changed hands for a price of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 10,382.07) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 95,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Wilson Shieh have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2017 the work Bank Of China, Hong Kong was auctioned for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 17,885.04).

Die Arbeit The Princess Is Dead von Wilson Shieh wurde im Oktober 2009 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 10.382,07) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 95.000,00 – 120.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Wilson Shieh konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2017 die Arbeit Bank Of China, Hong Kong für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 17.885,04) versteigert.
