Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated featuring works from the Collection of Joni Gordon of Newspace Gallery, which included this untitled work by William J. O'Brien. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,918.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by William J. O'Brien have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April this year the work without title was auctioned for GBP 9,525.00 (€ 10,855.39).
