This artwork by Willem Alexander Knip achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2010. In the Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations auction, the work Oudenaarde: a view of the tower Oudenaarde sold for EUR 4,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Willem Alexander Knip - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View of the Prins Hendrikkade with the St. Nicolaaskerk beyond, Amsterdam, which sold at auction in September 2012 for EUR 11,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Willem Alexander Knip erzielte im September 2010 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations wurde die Arbeit Oudenaarde: a view of the tower Oudenaarde für EUR 4.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Willem Alexander Knip mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View of the Prins Hendrikkade with the St. Nicolaaskerk beyond, Amsterdam beobachtet, die im September 2012 für EUR 11.250,00 versteigert wurde.
