In June 2000 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY ART, which included the work Composition by Will Leewens. The »bidding war« ended at NLG 7,021.20 (€ 2,996.06), 40% above the upper estimate. Other works by Will Leewens have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 5,019.00 in December 2002 for the work Still life.

Im Juni 2000 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von Will Leewens zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von NLG 7.021,20 (€ 2.996,06) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Will Leewens haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.019,00 im Dezember 2002 für die Arbeit Still life beobachtet.
