Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Voorgevoel - Presentiment by Will Leewens was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2001. Here, the upper estimate of NLG 1,600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for NLG 1,645.00 (€ 719.82). Admittedly, works by Will Leewens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still life in December 2002 with an auction result of EUR 5,019.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Voorgevoel - Presentiment von Will Leewens kam im Januar 2001 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von NLG 1.600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für NLG 1.645,00 (€ 719,82) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Will Leewens auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still life im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.019,00.
