Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Will Boone could be acquired at Phillips in London in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Dangerous Knowledge changed hands for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,318.72) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Will Boone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work ICE in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,736.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Will Boone konnte im Dezember 2018 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Dangerous Knowledge für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.318,72) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Will Boone auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ICE im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 73.736,27).
