Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pawel B. by Wilhelm Sasnal was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 11,340.00 (€ 9,795.28). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilhelm Sasnal achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Airplanes in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 396,000.00 (€ 294,358.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pawel B. von Wilhelm Sasnal kam im September 2021 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 11.340,00 (€ 9.795,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Sasnal erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Airplanes im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 396.000,00 (€ 294.358,14).
