Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wilhelm Sasnal achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2021. In the Post War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Palms sold for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,056.49) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilhelm Sasnal achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Airplanes in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 396,000.00 (€ 294,358.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wilhelm Sasnal erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Palms für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.056,49) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Sasnal erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Airplanes im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 396.000,00 (€ 294.358,14).
