In June 2018 VAN HAM held the auction Discoveries, which included this untitled work by Wilhelm Imkamp. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,451.00 23% above the estimate. Admittedly, works by Wilhelm Imkamp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Komposition mit Kreis (Große Fassung)" in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 12,255.00.
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2018 führte VAN HAM die Auktion Discoveries durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Wilhelm Imkamp zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.451,00 und damit 23% über dem Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wilhelm Imkamp auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Komposition mit Kreis (Große Fassung)" im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.255,00.
