Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.451,00 und übertraf damit den zuvor vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreis um 36%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wilhelm Imkamp auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Komposition mit Kreis (Große Fassung)" im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.255,00.
