Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Christies in New York held the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online, which included the work untitled by Wang Yan Cheng. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 378,000.00 (€ 45,711.96). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Yan Cheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 5,440,000.00 (€ 515,772.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit untitled von Wang Yan Cheng zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 378.000,00 (€ 45.711,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Yan Cheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.440.000,00 (€ 515.772,45).
