This work without title by Wang Yan Cheng was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 1,890,000.00 (€ 214,081.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Yan Cheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2013 for HKD 5,440,000.00 (€ 515,772.45).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Wang Yan Cheng kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.890.000,00 (€ 214.081,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Yan Cheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2013 für HKD 5.440.000,00 (€ 515.772,45) versteigert wurde.
