Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Sans Titre - 1996 by Wang Yan Cheng. The price achieved of EUR 5,248.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Yan Cheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 5,440,000.00 (€ 515,772.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1996 von Wang Yan Cheng zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.248,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Yan Cheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.440.000,00 (€ 515.772,45).
