Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art Online, which included the work Sans Titre by Wang Yan Cheng. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 201,600.00 (€ 23,934.25). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Yan Cheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 5,440,000.00 (€ 515,772.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre von Wang Yan Cheng zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 201.600,00 (€ 23.934,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Yan Cheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.440.000,00 (€ 515.772,45).
