This work without title by Wang Yan Cheng was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 78,496.73), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 73%. Admittedly, works by Wang Yan Cheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 5,440,000.00 (€ 515,772.45).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Wang Yan Cheng kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 78.496,73) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 73%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Yan Cheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.440.000,00 (€ 515.772,45).
