Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Football Field (Quadruple)(Painted In 2003) by Wang Xingwei was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 1,416,000.00 (€ 161,846.71) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 1,000,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Xingwei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blind in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 9,400,000.00 (€ 967,757.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Football Field (Quadruple)(Painted In 2003) von Wang Xingwei kam im Oktober 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 1.416.000,00 (€ 161.846,71) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 1.000.000,00 – 1.500.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Xingwei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blind im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.400.000,00 (€ 967.757,38).
