The work Past, Present, Future by Wang Qingsong was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 2,772.00 (€ 3,096.57), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Qingsong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Follow Me in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 433,250.00 (€ 550,449.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Past, Present, Future von Wang Qingsong kam im Dezember 2020 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.772,00 (€ 3.096,57) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Qingsong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Follow Me im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 433.250,00 (€ 550.449,00).
