A top price for Wang Qingsong
This artwork by Wang Qingsong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2008. In the Post War & Contemporary ArtDay Sale(Afternoon) auction, the work Follow Me sold for GBP 433,250.00 (€ 550,449.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 180,000.00. This high result makes Follow Me the most expensive artwork by Wang Qingsong that we have observed at auctions so far.
