Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July last year POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Sweet Osmanthus by Wang Chengpei. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 66,000.00 (€ 8,235.44). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Chengpei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape After Ancient Master in April this year with an auction result of HKD 96,000.00 (€ 98,034.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sweet Osmanthus von Wang Chengpei zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 66.000,00 (€ 8.235,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Chengpei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape After Ancient Master im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 96.000,00 (€ 98.034,78).
