With six collector's seals of Chen Banding (1876-1970), ban ding shen ding (4), shan yin chen nian (2), ji shan ban lao, ji shan ban lao, miao shi tou tuo, xian zhuo ju; and one collector's seal of Pan Zengshou (1810-1883), pan fu ting shi (4)

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers Of Four Seasons by Wang Chengpei was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,116.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Chengpei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape After Ancient Master in April this year with an auction result of HKD 96,000.00 (€ 98,034.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers Of Four Seasons von Wang Chengpei kam im März 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.116,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Chengpei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape After Ancient Master im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 96.000,00 (€ 98.034,78).
