The work Chrysanthemums by Wang Chengpei was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2018. It achieved a price of EUR 12,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56 %. Admittedly, works by Wang Chengpei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape After Ancient Master in April this year with an auction result of HKD 96,000.00 (€ 98,034.78).

Die Arbeit Chrysanthemums von Wang Chengpei kam im Juni 2018 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 12.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Chengpei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape After Ancient Master im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 96.000,00 (€ 98.034,78).
