Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Autumn Moon At Dongting Lake by Wang Chengpei was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 57,149.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Other works by Wang Chengpei have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April this year the work Landscape After Ancient Master was auctioned for HKD 96,000.00 (€ 98,034.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Autumn Moon At Dongting Lake von Wang Chengpei wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 57.149,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Wang Chengpei konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April diesen Jahres die Arbeit Landscape After Ancient Master für HKD 96.000,00 (€ 98.034,78) versteigert.
