The price achieved of HKD 690,000.00 (€ 65,477.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Other works by Wang Chengpei have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April this year the work Landscape After Ancient Master was auctioned for HKD 96,000.00 (€ 98,034.78).
