Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Das schräge U (Studie) by Walter Dexel was auctioned at Christies in London in March last year. The price achieved of GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,780.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Walter Dexel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Segelschiff I in February 2020 with an auction result of GBP 671,250.00 (€ 777,980.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Das schräge U (Studie) von Walter Dexel kam im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.032,00 (€ 4.780,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Walter Dexel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Segelschiff I im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 671.250,00 (€ 777.980,27).
