Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale, which included the work Marina, Venezia by Virgilio Guidi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,111.60) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Virgilio Guidi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nudo allo specchio in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 93,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marina, Venezia von Virgilio Guidi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.111,60) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Virgilio Guidi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nudo allo specchio im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 93.750,00.
