Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Photo-Graffia by Vincenzo Agnetti was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in June 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,235.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vincenzo Agnetti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ritratto di abitante (Portrait of a citizen) in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 182,500.00 (€ 255,271.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Photo-Graffia von Vincenzo Agnetti wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.235,17) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vincenzo Agnetti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ritratto di abitante (Portrait of a citizen) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 182.500,00 (€ 255.271,92).
