Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Della Provvisorietàfour Photographic Prints On Aluminum Foil. by Vincenzo Agnetti was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in November 2019, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 6,875.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vincenzo Agnetti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ritratto di abitante (Portrait of a citizen) in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 182,500.00 (€ 255,271.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Della Provvisorietàfour Photographic Prints On Aluminum Foil. von Vincenzo Agnetti im November 2019 bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 6.875,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vincenzo Agnetti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ritratto di abitante (Portrait of a citizen) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 182.500,00 (€ 255.271,92).
